• Z-Flashing is a critical moisture barrier used in home siding installations. It is shaped like the letter “Z” and is typically installed between horizontal siding panels or at the transition between different exterior materials. Positioned beneath the bottom edge of an upper panel, it helps divert water away from the structure, preventing moisture intrusion behind the siding.
